Shepherd of the Hills is a church of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We are a part of the Grand Canyon Synod of the ELCA. We believe that these national and regional affiliations enable us to do God’s work in ways that we cannot accomplish on our own. They connect us with our Lutheran brothers and sisters throughout the area, country, and world.
We strive to be a gospel-centered congregation. We believe that God’s work is not confined to any particular agenda or group. We believe that the tasks of loving other, caring for those in need, and, worshiping God can and should be done by all people.
