Potato Soup submitted by Anne Benson

Simmer 45 minutes:
6-8 medium potatoes cubed
1 medium onion chopped
1 stalk celery chopped
1 can chicken broth
6 cups water

Add and simmer 15 minutes:
1 cup milk
2 tbsp butter or margarine
½ tsp salt, pepper to taste
4 slices of bacon or some ham
1 bay leaf
½ pkg frozen chopped spinach – squeeze out excess water

*Can add some grated cheddar cheese just before serving
