Temporary Closure of Physical Space
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we join our fellow ELCA churches, our interfaith and interdenominational partners, in suspending physical worship and group gatherings for the present time. The church council and Pastor Adam continue to review the most current information from our church and public health leaders. Presently, the closure is anticipated to last until the end of April.
Helping Our Community During the Pandemic
Our Christian ethic of care does not disappear during this time of social distancing. We continue to try to remain in service to each other and our neighbors. We are presently pursuing two opportunities to help support our community:
– Family Food Center Volunteering – For those who are comfortable, the Family Food Center is in need of volunteers. We have several crews helping prepare and serve food to those who are hungry here in Flagstaff.
– Fabric Masks – As supply chains are stretched, many of those on the front lines of the pandemic are in need of alternative protective equipment. We have a dedicated group of individuals who are sharing resources and sewing hundreds of masks for our first responders, health care workers, and others.
If you are interested in either of these opportunities, please contact us through our Contact Page and we will connect you with these ministries!
This Week’s Online Worship – March 29th
Our weekend worship is live and ready to enjoy. This week, we hear the grief of two sisters at the death of their brother, Lazarus. John’s Gospel guides us into thinking about who God is in the face of death and grief.

Past Worship Services
I love you, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer,
my God, my rock in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,
so I shall be saved from my enemies.
