Shepherd of the Hills works with a company called "Great Lakes Scrip" to provide the gift certificates and cards that you purchase each week. We are always seeking volunteers to help sell Scrip between services. Training is provided and it is a great way to meet others in our church family! Come join the fun and help us continue the Parish Nurse program, as well as making additional mortgage payments for SOTH. Remember that 75% of the proceeds from Scrip sales goes to the Parish Nurse program and 25% goes to the Mortgage. We need everyone's participation to make this program a success! Remember that Scrip can be purchased Monday through Friday during regular office hours (8 a - 2 p). Scrip is ordered on Tuesday mornings and arrives on Fridays. It is distributed on Sunday mornings, unless other arrangements have been made. On-going fundraising programs: Albertson's Community Partners: Working with Albertson's food stores, we acquired the community partner cards for our congregation. Everytime a member of SOTH shops at Albertson's and gives the cashier their partner card, we receive a check for a percentage of the purchases. The more that is purchased, the higher the percentage back to SOTH. If you don't have a card and you shop at Albertson's, stop by the Scrip table and pick one up today. These cards are simple to use and can help to support our programs.

 Safeway E-Scrip: If you shop at Safeway and have a Safeway Club card, you can also participate in this fundraising program. Simply bring your Safeway Club card to church and fill out the form at the Scrip table, and we'll do the rest to get you entered into the computer, or send an email to the SOTH office with the following information: Your name, Safeway Club Card Number, Your address, and your telephone number. Then, everytime you use your Safeway card, SOTH will receive a percentage back to help support our programs.

Bashas' Thank You Rewards: Each year from September through January, Bashas' helps non-profits by providing a percentage of the purchases from the organization's members. Starting in September, members can take SOTH's organization number and "attach" it to their Bashas' Thank You card. Then, every time you use your Bashas' Thank You card, the purchases are totaled for the organization's number and in March a check is issued to the organization based on the total purchases.
